These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and the remote computer repair and related services provided by MLH Remote Computer Mechanics ("MLH," "we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship based in Wichita, Kansas. By booking a service, using our website, or otherwise engaging us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
MLH provides remote computer support, which may include diagnostics, virus and malware removal, Windows troubleshooting, performance tune-ups, software setup and configuration, and related help. Services are generally performed remotely, over the internet, using remote-access software, with your permission and while you are present at your device.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use our services. You confirm that you own the device we service, or that you have permission from its owner to authorize the work.
By starting a remote session, you grant MLH permission to remotely access your device for the purpose of performing the requested work, for the duration of that session. You may end the session at any time. We access only what is reasonably necessary to complete the work, and our access ends when the session ends.
Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work in good faith to resolve your issue, but we do not guarantee that every problem can be fixed, that a device is free of all defects, or that a specific outcome or result will be achieved. Some issues stem from failing hardware, manufacturer defects, or third-party software outside our control. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions of your device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLH and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We may use or recommend third-party software and services. Those are governed by their own licenses and terms, and we are not responsible for them. You are responsible for complying with any license you accept.
The content, branding, and materials on our website are owned by MLH or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission, except as allowed by law.
You agree not to use our website or services to break the law, infringe others' rights, gain unauthorized access to any system, or ask us to perform work that is illegal or that you are not authorized to request.
We may decline or stop service at our discretion, including if a request is unsafe, unlawful, outside our scope, or if these Terms are violated.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
